Diagnosis of neoplasm

In order to determine the nature of the neoplasm (benign or malignant) and to choose the most suitable method of its elimination, in the case of any skin formation, the dermatologist can easily look at the mole at ten to forty times magnification with the help of optical or digital dermascopy. In order to better distinguish blood vessels and pigment, the specialist additionally uses spectral lights during the examination.

Removal of skin neoplasm

Depending on the location, unwanted skin formations are often both an aesthetic and a physical nuisance. Removal of formations is possible in all areas of the body (including the intimate area) and face. The procedures are painless and maximally gentle.

If necessary, local anaesthesia (injection or cream) is used to remove formations. The process is quick and the customer can immediately return to their normal daily activities. Methods of removing skin formations:

cryodestruction – freezing of the skin formation with liquid nitrogen;
treatment of skin formation with silver, acetocaustin;
CO2 laser for the removal of small skin formations with special precision. The device allows thermal action on the blood vessels in the treatment area to reduce the possibility of bleeding. After using the CO2 device, it is possible to send the material for histological examination;
removal of formations (ablation) with an erbium laser: the Erbium:YAG laser device provides the opportunity to remove small formations gently and with maximum precision. This solution is especially suitable for use in the face and neck areas, as it allows you to control the depth of exposure, minimizes the risks of scarring;
ablation of formations with an electrocoagulator – for the elimination of small formations, especially in the area of the eyelids or in the intimate area;
the surgical approach is used in cases where a malignant skin formation is suspected or when the characteristics of the formation do not allow the use of device technologies.

Before manipulation: a dermatologist diagnoses formations with an optical dermatoscope in order to evaluate the formation and choose the most appropriate way to remove it.

Restrictions after the procedure: during healing, it is recommended not to use saunas, swimming pools and SPA treatments, as well as to avoid UV rays (sunbathing, solarium, being in the sun without protective cream) for a month.
