Elimination of Redundant Hair with Laser / Photoepilation Method
Laser epilation and photoepilation are currently the most updated methods for elimination of redundant hair. They have proved their high effectiveness during last several years.
Laser epilation and photoepilation represent one technological trend in aesthetic laser surgery- photothermolisis (SF).
SF ensures gradual elimination of redundant hair in any part of the body during several séances, including the most sensitive skin zones – face and bikini. The achieved result is long-term and hair-grow in its initial quality and quantity is not observed. In order to achieve successful result, following conditions must be taken into account before starting the procedure:
- Color of eliminated hair must be as dark as possible. It is almost impossible to eliminate grey, red and fair hair with help of photothermolisis.
- Skin color must be as natural as possible: 2-4 weeks before and after the procedure it is not recommended to subject the hair zone to sun and attend solarium.
- At least one month before laser / photoepilation it is not recommended to apply mechanical methods for hair elimination (vaxing, electroepilation, pulling out hair with tweezers).
- Length of hair subjected to laser / photoepilation should not exceed 0.2 mm when attending the procedure. It means that 1-3 days before the procedure hair should be shaved.
aser / photoepilation can be performed with several types of new generation equipment, whose operating principles let the specialist chose the most appropriate type of photoepilation.
- Quantum; ESC/Sharplan, Yokneam, IPL (Israel) equipment
- Ruby laser is particularly suitable for places difficult to reach - outer ear passage, upper lip, the opening part of nose passage.
- Alexandrite laser – one of the most effective laser epilation equipments in Europe that is suitable for quick and effective laser epilation of larger body zones.
In addition, analgesia of skin is provided with conditioned cold air flow of Krio Jet equipment, thus ensuring maximal comfort during the procedure.
